Kevin and I ( Betsy) are privileged to take over his legacy here at the park. Southern Arizona is well known as a winter birding destination. Bisbee provides a great central location to explore surronging areas which are well known for their opportunities to see wintering song birds,waterfowl, raptors and cranes. San Pedro National Riparian Area 1/2 hour drive. Ramsey Canyon 45 min drive Whitewater draw 20 min drive, Also the Chiracahua Mountains and Lake Patagonia are all great places to explore. In March of 2018 it was discovered that there is a pair of Peregrine Falcons nesting inside the pit next to our park. They can be seen during nesting season, March thru June
